What we collect when you order or contact us, where it is stored, and how to ask for a copy or its deletion.
What we collect
At checkout we collect the name, email address, phone number, organisation where given, delivery address and country, the items ordered, and the research use declaration. Through the contact form we collect the name, email address, subject and the message written.
Payment card details are entered on the payment provider's own form and are never collected by, sent to, or stored on this site. We receive only the payment result and a reference.
Why we hold it
Order details are held to process and deliver the order, to issue invoices, to answer questions about the order afterwards, and to meet the record keeping expected of a supplier of research materials. The research use declaration is held as evidence of the basis on which the material was supplied.
Contact form messages are held to answer the enquiry. We do not use either for marketing, and we do not send newsletters.
Where it is stored
Orders, order lines and contact messages are stored in a Supabase database. Access is protected by row level security, so the website itself can create an order or a message but cannot read them back. Staff read them through a separate administrative key that is not present in the browser.
The payment provider holds the payment record under its own terms. The courier receives the delivery name, address and phone number, which it needs to deliver the parcel.
How long it is kept
Order records are kept for seven years from the date of the order, to cover accounting and supply record keeping. Contact form messages are kept for two years from the last reply, then deleted.
If an order is cancelled before dispatch, the delivery details are deleted once any refund has settled.
Your choices and requests
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to support@neropeptide.com from the address used for the order and we will reply within 30 days.
This site uses no advertising or analytics trackers. The only browser storage used is a cart that lives in your own browser and is never sent to us until you place an order.
